Legacy incorporates a patented "Hidden Hardware System" in its baby cribs. It offers a crib hardware warranty for "fifteen years or three children".

Child Craft markets Legacy as furniture that will grow with the child. Many of the cribs are convertible into day beds or double beds. The patent-pending Legacy Crib2Queen converts to a toddler bed, twin bed, full-size bed and queen-size bed.

All Legacy convertible cribs have four mattress height positions and are made of solid wood.

The Legacy Baby Furniture website offers a neat tool called a Finish Board. You can look at samples of 22 available finishes, to choose one which one matches your nursery decor.

Every Legacy crib is certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers' Association (JPMA). This means that the cribs meet or exceed industry standards set by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), which are stricter than the mandatory standards defined by the the Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC).
